dataset
posted on 2025-01-22, 05:15 authored by USDA
Aflatoxin-producing molds in the genus Aspergillus can be important sources of crop contamination. We present whole genome sequences for aflatoxin-producing Aspergillus texensis and Aspergillus toxicus assembled from Illumina short reads. This is the first A. toxicus genome and the second A. texensis genome published, providing resources of agricultural relevance.
