dataset
posted on 2024-06-11, 06:49 authored by Virginia Tech
This project performed whole-genome resequencing on wild American chestnut (Castanea dentata), Chinese chestnut (Castanea mollissima), Japanese chestnut (Castanea crenata), European chestnut (Castanea sativa), Allegheny chinquapin (Castanea pumila), Ozark chinquapin (Castanea ozarkensis), Alabama chinquapin (Castanea alabamensis), Chinese chinquapin (Castanea henryi), and Seguin chestnut (Castanea seguinii). The goal of this project is to explore the patterns of genomic diversity within wild American chestnut populations and evaluate the phylogenetic relationships between Castanea species.
