The Broad Institute sequenced the Lodderomyces elongisporus strain NRRL YB-4239 genome at 8.7X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. Release 1 of the assembly consists of 144 nuclear genome contigs in 27 supercontigs, and one mitochondrial contig/supercontig. The Broad Institute performed automated annotation on this assembly. The Lodderomyces elongisporus genome assembly will be used for genomic comparisons with Candida albicans.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA12899 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
