<p><strong>Description of the data and file structure</strong></p> <p>This repository contains the code and data for the paper "Understanding the Impact of Object Diversity and Connectivity on Scenic Appeal: A Quantitative Analysis," published in the Journal of the Royal Society Interface.</p> <p><strong>Code</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>The codebase developed in this study includes scripts for data downloading, processing, and implementing two linear mixed-effects (LME) regression models for data analysis.</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Dataset</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Scenicness scores for the Geograph photographs were obtained from the Scenic-Or-Not project, including three randomly selected batches of subsets.</li> <li>Three batches of photograph IDs, each containing 10,000 randomly selected records from the Scenic-Or-Not dataset, are available for download from the Geograph website.</li> </ul>
