The USDA Agricultural Research Service’s Ag100Pest Initiative will produce annotated, high quality genome assemblies for 100 US agricultural pest arthropods. The Ag100Pest Initiative is a component of both the i5k Initiative and Earth BioGenome Project. Species are being chosen across arthropod pests of US field crops, livestock, bees, trees, and stored products as well as foreign pest species considered potential invasive threats to US agriculture.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA555319 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
