These data are for genome skimming project aimed at identifying the species of a single encapsulated Trichinella worm found in gray fox tissue from Pennsylvania. The DNA was subjected to whole genome amplification prior to Illumina sequencing. Coverage depth is not adequate for whole genome sequencing, but captures repetitive mitochondrial and ribosomal sequences.
