The goal of this study is to identify genes that are directly and indirectly regulated by the OsWRKY71 transcription factor in rice embryos during seed germination. The study involves analyzing the transcriptomes of rice wildtype and oswrky71-1 mutant embryos at various stages: 0 hours (dry embryos), 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, and 48 hours after imbibition.
