Transcriptome analysis of Macrophomina phaseolina in strawberry

We performed dual RNAseq analysis to profile the molecular interactions between strawberry and Macrophomina phaseolina, a plurivorous soilborne fungus, and to identify virulence factors and pathogenicity-related genes in the pathogen as well as well as susceptibility factors in strawberry. Our data will provide a blueprint for of the trascriptome of this pathosystem that is essential in pathogen surveillance and resistance breeding.
