How have extracellular proteases evolved among yeasts? In addition to having active proteases Candida caseinolytica is one of the earliest diverging members of the Saccharomycotina. This taxon that is so near the base of the group it is essential to an understanding of occurrence of evolution of proteases within the subphylum.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA76687 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
