Iron and copper were supplemented in the diet of catfish fingerlings in different combinations: inorganic iron + inorganic copper, only copper nanoparticles, only iron nanoparticles, and iron nanoparticles + copper nanoparticles. Fingerlings were fed for 60 days. The digesta from the whole intestine was sampled and subjected to DNA extraction, followed by sequencing the V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA.
