dataset
posted on 2025-11-23, 05:32 authored by US Department of Agriculture
This study evaluated if acidifying agents that are used to acidify litter and water forammonia control and pathogen reduction in the poultry house have a deleterious effect on thesurvival and growth of Salmonella Infantis. Fitness effects of pESI on S. Infantis in the presenceof acidifiers were investigated and any changes in the antimicrobial resistance phenotypes andthe pESI plasmid genome composition were examined.
