This dataset includes 16S rRNA gene and ITS region sequencing data from soil samples collected over three years in a vineyard managed with different cover crop treatments. The sequences provide a resource for examining bacterial and fungal communities in distinct vineyard zones (interrow and vine row) under Semi-arid climate conditions at the San Joaquin Valley, California, USA. These genomic data enable further investigations into microbial diversity and community structure influenced by agricultural management practices.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1207507 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
