The Excel sheet contains RNASeq-derived mRNA abundance patterns in the intrascapular brown adipose tissue (BAT) of female and male mice, comparing wildtype to homozygous myoglobin knockout animals. Mice had been fed a 45% of energy high fat diet for ~13 wk prior to tissue collection, and sampled in the postabsorptive state (~4-6 hr into the light cycle with food withdrawn at ~06:00).

Resources in this dataset:

Resource Title: Supplemental Materials 1: Wildtype vs. Myoglobin Knockout mRNA Data, Intrascapular Bown Adipose Tissue (BAT).

File Name: SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIALS 1, WT VS. The data are intended for scientific research, useful to determine gene expression in brown adipose tissue and the role of myoglobin in these processes.
