Shot-gun metagenomic sequencing of onion foliage

dataset
posted on 2024-06-11, 06:59 authored by University of Georgia
We conducted a metagenomics survey on the onion foliage for OxiDate pre-treated BlightBan (a.i, Pseudomonas fluorescens A506) plots, only BlighBan treated plots, and non-treated control plots to monitor the population dynamics of P. fluorescens A506 on onion leaves. This study was conducted to better understand the effect of microbicide (OxiDate) application on the efficacy of biocontrol agents to manage the center rot disease on onion foliage and bulbs.
