Short term response of harvested sugarbeet roots to wounding

Research was conducted to identify the transcriptional changes that occur in freshly harvested sugarbeet roots during the first 24 hours after wounding. The study is relevant for understanding wound-healing processes that occur in postharvest sugarbeet roots.
