Test 16S sequence data for Seroplacer R package analysis. These are the FASTQ files for both the environmental samples and the Salmonella isolates. Sequencing was performed using Loop Genomics 16S amplicon sequencing pipeline. The goal of this study is to analyze if it is possible to predict bacterial serovars using only 16S amplicon sequencing data. We used these test isolates and environmental samples in order to evaluate the performance of our computational algorithm.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA988246 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
