Turicibacter is a genus of anaerobic bacteria, commonly identified in the intestine of animals. Turicibacter is highly heritable and capable of interaction with host-derived compounds, suggesting it contributes to host physiological processes. Here, we have isolated Turicibacter strains from various livestock species to make genotypic and phenotypic comparisons.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA631282 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
