Genome sequence of fish pathogen Saprolegnia declina. Saprolegnia is a water mold that is economically one of the most important fish pathogens, especially on catfish, salmon and trout species. It causes millions of dollar losses to the aquaculture industry worldwide and has also been linked to declining wild fish stocks and amphibian populations around the world. Saprolegnia declina VS20 was isolated from Salmo salar eggs from the locality of Pucón in Chile.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA86859 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
