The goals of this study were to assemble the whole genome sequences of eight Rhizobium leguminosarum strains that were used in an evolutionary ecology experiment to determine the effects of herbicides stress on the plant-rhizobia symbiosis. The core genes of these strains were aligned to characterize their phylogenetic relatedness and to test whether phylogeny influenced experimental outcomes of symbiosis.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1241449 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
