Various hydro-meteorological conditions facilitate transport of fecal indicator bacteria affecting recreational water quality leading to beach advisories. North Beach (Racine, WI), is an exemplar site, where extensive research has been conducted to identify multiple sources of microbial contamination.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers.
