In vitro oocyte maturation media was supplemented with preovulatory follicular fluid from follicles of greater or lesser physiological maturity. RNA sequencing was performed on pools of 2 resulting blastocysts from each treatment. Study goals were to determine differences in the blastocyst transcriptome resultant of oocyte maturation environment to better understand contributions of the preovulatory follicle to oocyte competence for embryo development.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1171462 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
