Obesity induced in C57Bl/6J mice on high fat diets altered the gut microbiome. Body weight, liver weight, blood lipids, adipose wt and liver lipids were increased compared to lean mice on low fat diets. Quercetin supplementation of high fat diets prevented metabolic effects of HF diet.
