Transcriptional profiling of porcine macrophages infected with Afraican swine fever virus (ASFV) infected cells and mock infection was conducted in this experiment. Overall design: Two-condition experiment: ASFV infected vs. mock infected cells. Biological replicates: three. Macrophages were prepared from 3 pigs. Macrophages from each pig were infected and mock-infected with ASFV. The total RNA samples were prepared at six time points, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 hours post infection. Array hybridization was based on a dye-swap design in which each array contained a Cy5 or Cy3 labeled infected and a Cy3 or Cy5 labeled mock-infected sample of the same time point, respectively.
