This study was conducted to reconstruct phylogeographic patterns in wild and cultivated H. annuus. Samples were prepared using a two enzyme genotyping-by-sequencing protocol with HpaII and MseI and sequenced on an Illumina NextSeq 500 at the Georgia Genomics and Bioinformatics Core (Athens, GA).
