We set forth to generate and conduct bioinformatic analyses of the complete genome sequence of an antibiotic-producing species of Nocardia that was deposited more than three decades ago in the NRRL culture collection. This organism was initially of interest as an antibiotic producer, it was also shown to contain biocatalytically important enzymes, and the first described nitric oxide synthase enzyme system in bacteria.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA743876 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
