The ascomycete Neofusicoccum parvum (teleomorph Botryosphaeria parva) is a member of the Botryosphaeriaceae family and a vascular pathogen that causes severe decline and dieback symptoms in grapevines worldwide. Disease symptoms include wedge-shaped necrosis in the vascular tissues, shoot dieback, cane bleaching, bud necrosis, and graft failure.
