Phomopsis seed decay is one of the most devastating seed diseases and reduces soybean seed quality and yield worldwide. The disease is caused primarily by a seed-borne fungus, Diaporthe longicolla (syn. Phomopsis longicolla), but information about the genomic variation of the fungus is lacking. In this study, we analyzed the mitochondrial genome sequences of eight isolates of D. Longicolla from different states in the U.S.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1073935 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
