Metaphylaxis for respiratory disease in high-risk stocker cattle: impact on antimicrobial resistance

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of macrolide metaphylaxis on antimicrobial resistance in Mannheimia haemolytica isolated from stocker calves at risk for respiratory disease, a leading cause of economic loss and death in the beef industry.
