RNA sequencing for the Mayetiola destructor (Hessian Fly). The Hessian Fly is the world’s most important pest of wheat and a reemerging pest in the United States. It is also a representative of other insect pest species in the dipteran family Cecidomyiidae, and a representative of plant parasites.
