Thread blight disease (TBD) of Theobroma cacao threatens global chocolate production. TBD is caused by basidiomycetous fungi in the family Marasmiaceae. Though multiple species in this family have been identified as causal agents of TBD, Marasmiellus scandens was the first identified and widely reported species. This assembly is for the nuclear genome of the M. scandens strain GH-19 isolated in Ghana.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1060674 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
