Marasmiellus scandens strain:GH-19 Genome sequencing and assembly

dataset
posted on 2024-09-29, 07:08 authored by USDA ARS
Thread blight disease (TBD) of Theobroma cacao threatens global chocolate production. TBD is caused by basidiomycetous fungi in the family Marasmiaceae. Though multiple species in this family have been identified as causal agents of TBD, Marasmiellus scandens was the first identified and widely reported species. This assembly is for the nuclear genome of the M. scandens strain GH-19 isolated in Ghana.
