These Pseudomonas syringae phylogroup 2 and Pseudomonas viridiflava phylogroup 7 strains were isolated from bacterial stem blight-diseased alfalfa (Medicago sativa) plants from the Western and Midwestern United States. These sequences can be used to investigate virulence genes contributing to bacterial stem blight, and for comparison to other Pseudomonas syringae and Pseudomonas viridiflava strains isolated from other hosts.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA728054 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
