Lactobacillus buchneri strain NRRL B-30929. Lactobacillus buchneri strain NRRL B-30929 was isolated from a fuel ethanol production facility. This strain can ferment glucose into lactate and ethanol and can tolerate ethanol concentrations of up to 12%. The genome sequence of this organism will provide information on the production and regulation of the proteins involved in ethanol production.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers.
