Strain AO1167B of Heyndrickxia coagulans is a suclone of a strain of Bacillus coagulans deposited in the ARS Public Collection with NRRL Number B-1167 . The original strain was isolated from spoiled milk and deposited in the ARS Culture Collection by N.R. Smith, USDA, Beltsville, MD, on 8/14/1950. This subclone was selected for inclusion in a clinical trial based on improved tolerance to the digestive system environment.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers.
