Grapevine leaf fungal and bacterial microbiome study

dataset
posted on 2024-01-27, 00:35 authored by U.S. Department of Agriculture
Grape powdery mildew is the most important grape disease in California. Frequent chemical sprays manage the disease, but also effect fungi, bacteria and other micro-organisms that can contribute to vine health, yield, and resiliency. This study would compare the effect of different fungicide spray programs on microbial communities during the growing season from two table grape vineyards and relate those changes to powdery mildew and Botrytis disease severity/outbreaks.
