WashU conducted a comparative genomic analysis of several Saccharomyces species, including Saccharomyces castellii. They sequenced the Saccharomyces castellii strain NRRL Y-12630 genome at 3.9X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. The assembly, which totals approximately 11.1 Mb, consists of 570 contigs. The WGS sequences have been deposited at GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ under the project accession AACF00000000.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1444 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
