To encourage the use and conservation of the National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS) sorghum collection of the United States, a sweet sorghum diversity panel was established and genetically characterized. This sweet sorghum diversity panel is a germplasm resource that is available for breeding programs and geneticist to effectively improve this crop and to study its genetic diversity.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1076005 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
