Bacteria from the dominant bacteria phyla Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria are known to associate with plants. Here, we share annotated genome sequences for three root-associated bacteria isolated from Sorghum bicolor L. Moench cultivated in southwestern Arizona, identified as Spingomonas koreensis and Mitsuaria sp. PDC51 of the Proteobacteria and Promicromonospora sp. of the Actinobacteria.
