Genome sequencing of the fungus of Pyriculariaceae causing blast disease in plants.

dataset
posted on 2024-09-29, 04:58 authored by Kansas State University
The fungus of the genus Pyricularia causes blast diseases on diverse monocots plants, including major crops. To understand genome divergence and its relevance to pathogenicity and host adaptation, the project sequences Pyricularia strains collected from diverse plant hosts, including rice, wheat, foxtail millet, finger millet, ryegrass, and so on.
