The fungus of the genus Pyricularia causes blast diseases on diverse monocots plants, including major crops. To understand genome divergence and its relevance to pathogenicity and host adaptation, the project sequences Pyricularia strains collected from diverse plant hosts, including rice, wheat, foxtail millet, finger millet, ryegrass, and so on.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers.
