A chromosomal level phased assembly of an ordinary Valencia sweet orange (DVS) was acquired by de novo assembly using Pacbio CLR reads. We also carried out whole-genome sequencing and de novo assembly of three irradiation-induced mutants (SF, T19, and T78) to detect the somatic mutations in them. SF and T19 were derived from the same irradiation-induced branch, and T78 was from a different irradiation-induced branch. SF which had a lost tag was identified to be identical to T19 according to the genome sequencing data. Whole transcriptome sequencing of leaves collected from three replicate trees were carried out for DVS, T19, and T78.
