Genome assemblies and evolutionary genomics of three agricultural pest moths (Lepidoptera, Gelechiidae) reveals rapid evolution of host adaptation and immune-related genes

We sequenced and assembled genomes for three pest twirler moths, Phthorimaea absoluta, Keiferia lycopersicella, and Scrobipalpa atriplicella. By comparing the genomes with another two gelechiid genomes, we found host plant adaptation and immune associated genes have rapid gene repertoire size change.
