Genetic mapping in pecan

dataset
posted on 2024-12-21, 05:34 authored by The University of Georgia
Pecan (Carya illinoinensis) genetic maps were constructed using an F1 biparental mapping population generated from the controlled cross between two pecan cultivars, Pawnee as a seed parent and Elliott as a pollen source. 119 F1 offspring and parent cultivars were sequenced (three replicated samples for each parent) using the genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) method using NgoMIV restriction enzyme.
