Pecan (Carya illinoinensis) genetic maps were constructed using an F1 biparental mapping population generated from the controlled cross between two pecan cultivars, Pawnee as a seed parent and Elliott as a pollen source. 119 F1 offspring and parent cultivars were sequenced (three replicated samples for each parent) using the genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) method using NgoMIV restriction enzyme.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1177171 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
