Fusarium nurragi has been isolated from heath species growing on the coasts in the Australian states of Victoria and Western Australia. Although F. nurragi has not been assigned to a Fusarium species complex, it is closely related to the F. heterosporum and F. tricinctum species complexes. F. nurragi has been associated with mycotoxin contamination of food and feed crops.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers.
