Fungi are more dispersal limited than bacteria among flowers

The study investigated microbial composition and abundance within flower nectar. Samples were plated for abundance, and kingdom level composition. Pooled samples (by sampling date) were sequenced following DNA extraction to determine microbial composition by date.
