Fungal Comparative Genomics of Juglanconis species and Ophiognomonia clavigignenti-juglandacearum

dataset
posted on 2024-09-29, 05:34 authored by USDA-ARS
The goal of this study was to compare the genomes of four isolates of Juglanconis and one isolate of Ophiognomonia clavigignenti-juglandacearum. These fungi are all members of the order Diaporthales and all cause disease on Juglans, a genus that includes walnut and butternut. Comparing these similar pathogens will aid in understanding their biology and how they cause disease.
