Three alfalfa genotypes: Wilson (drought resistance), Saranac (drought-sensitive), PI467895 (salt resistance) were used for unraveling the alfalfa response to drought and salt stress through full-length transcriptomes. Twenty-one different RNA libraries were generated from three tissues (leaf, stem, and root) of plants subjected to salt, drought, and control treatments. These libraries were sequenced by Iso-Seq using PacBio and RNA-Seq using Illumina to obtain the comparative transcriptional profiles in response to drought and salt stresses.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers.
