Historical and current photographs from USDA Forest Service Research work at Fort Valley Experimental Forest Station in Arizona. Subjects of the photographs include research techniques, locations of sample plots, harvesting methods, climatological equipment, diseases, planting, and other factors impacting a forest. Repeat photo series contain information of environmental changes over time. Photo documentation of USDA Forest Service Research projects at the Fort Valley Experimental Forest. The Fort Valley Experimental Forest is comprised of approximately 4950 acres of forest located 10 miles northwest of Flagstaff, Arizona in the Coconino National Forest.
