Fermentation of thermochemically treated dairy manure

dataset
posted on 2024-06-11, 06:39 authored by University of Wisconsin-Madison
16s rRNA gene sequences from two mesophilic, operationally similar flow-through bioreactors. Bioreactors were operated to test the hypothesis that organic material derived from dairy manure could be fermented into target compounds by a self-assembled community. The recovery of organic material as chemical commodities from agricultural residues such as dairy manure is important for environmental and economic sustainability.
