Loblolly pine, Pinus taeda L., is the most widely planted and commercially important tree species in the southeastern U.S. Exome capture was applied in a population of 375 trees using NimbleGen probes and then sequenced using the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. We aim to identify the markers that are associated with the adaptive traits and can be used as molecular tools to screen for superior genotypes under climate change.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA320114 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
