Escherichia coli is a common cause of intestinal infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and bacteremia in humans. The emergence of multidrug resistant E. coli is of great concern due to complications encountered in the treatment. In this study we report the draft genomic sequence of Escherichia coli strain H43ii obtained from an outpatient urine sample.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA589200 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
