Epichloe sylvatica is a seed-transmitted symbiont and sometimes a seed-head replacement pathogen of grasses of subfamily Pooideae, and is especially common as a symbiont of Brachypodium sylvaticum.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers.
